Atomic Data is always on the look out for ways to make things simpler for you. The IRS has announced that in 2012 they will lower the expensing and depreciation limits for small business, drastically cutting benefits seen these last two years.
In 2010 and 2011 small businesses could expense up to $500,000 for business hardware and computer software. Starting in 2012 small businesses will only be able to expense up to $125,000. We are not tax professionals, more details about the tax changes for small businesses can be found at IRS.gov.
If your organization has plans to purchase anything from storage equipment to new computers in the future, it’s in your best interest to do it sooner rather than later. We have the resources to get you set up with what you need now, so you can take advantage of the higher expensing and depreciation limits before they are gone.
