Did you hear the charitable bells ringing yesterday? November 16th was “Give to the Max Day” and many businesses around the state were promoting company wide donations to nonprofits and were even matching those donations. Here at Atomic Data we did the same, matching our employee’s charitable donations and helping Give to the Max. With many of our own clients and nonprofit friends on the sponsored list of charitable agencies, it was a great opportunity to give back.
“Give to the Max Day” in Minnesota is sponsored each year by GiveMN.org which makes the donation process simple, offering a centralized website with a variety of nonprofits to donate to directly. As with everyone one in this economy, nonprofits are having trouble keeping pace financially and operationally. GiveMN not only helps these nonprofits raise money, but helps provide guidance. With over 47,000 donors and 3,978 nonprofits, GiveMN.org helped raise about $13.5 million on November 16th.
