Minneapolis-based Atomic Data has announced that its Atomic for Uganda fundraising campaign is formally beginning on Friday, September 28th. In support of The American Refugee Committee’s efforts in Uganda, all funds received will go directly towards ARC’s missions in Uganda. “My trip to Uganda opened my eyes to the impact a few people can make in the lives of many Africans by a few small acts,” says Atomic Data CEO Jim Wolford.
Atomic for Uganda aims to raise $80,000 to assist ARC’s work in Uganda. We will also be matching all funds up to $40,000.
ARC provides critical services to thousands of families in remote areas of Uganda. Atomic Data is using all funds raised to provide staff facilities in these remote areas and a vehicle for travel between villages and work sites—helping ARC provide services keeping women and children safe. Funds will also be used in helping ARC develop a program on reproductive health education.
As a thank you for donations, we are offering Atomic for Uganda cause bracelets and t-shirts to individuals making minimum donations of $10.00 and $30.00 respectively. *A $5 shipping fee applies to online donations
